The South Carolina Cancer Alliance is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 Community Awards, which recognize organizations, healthcare providers, and community partners making an extraordinary impact on cancer prevention, screening, education, and health equity across South Carolina.

These awards celebrate the individuals and organizations working every day to improve health outcomes, increase access to care, and reduce the burden of cancer in communities throughout our state. From grassroots advocates and community-based organizations to health centers, healthcare systems, and innovative providers, the Community Awards highlight those leading the way in advancing cancer prevention and early detection.

Nominations are being accepted for the following award categories:

Community Health Catalyst Award

Recognizes federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) that are expanding access to cancer screenings, improving health outcomes, and advancing health equity at the community level.

Health System Excellence Award

Best Practice Innovator Award
