Women's Cancer
The Women’s Cancer Workgroup is responsible for overseeing all cancer control efforts in South Carolina, focusing on women. Utilizing data provided by the South Carolina Central Cancer Registry, the workgroup focuses on screenable cancers (breast, cervical, colon, and lung) in our state. The workgroup supports evidence-based interventions in these areas:
- Healthcare provider education
