Paint for Prevention - A Women's Health Event

Join us for a meaningful and creative afternoon at Paint for Prevention, a fun, light, and educational women’s health event for women and girls ages 12 and older.

This special event brings together art, community, and important health education in a welcoming, stigma-free environment. Participants will enjoy a guided Paint & Sip experience with mocktails and light refreshments while learning about cervical cancer prevention, screening, and HPV vaccination.

Date: May 2, 2026
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Location: Girl Scout Leadership Center, 1104 Williams St., Columbia, SC 29201

The afternoon will include a survivor story, educational information from a medical professional, and a guided painting session led by a local artist. All painting supplies will be provided, and each participant will leave with a completed canvas to take home.

This event is designed to create a safe and supportive space where participants can learn, connect, and have open conversations about women’s health. Resources and take-home materials will be available to support continued learning after the event.
